At Captain's Lodge, watch action shows in the game room while snuggling up with the romantic stuff goes on upstairs. Captain's Lodge on the Rapids on the Rapids is a unique, secluded year-round vacation destination in the Shenandoah Valley! Hike and bike on private and George Washington National Forest trails; enjoy our partnership with the Shenandoah River Outfitters; antique in Luray and New Market; visit the Civil War battlefield; enjoy a first run movie in the Page Theater, refurbished in the style and comforts of half a century ago. Offering six small theaters, one with as few as 39 seats, it is a most memorable experience. You can ride horses on Skyline Drive or just on the other side of Massanutten Mountain. Ski at Massanutten or Bryce Mountains in the winter. Treat yourself to fun and relaxation. The Warehouse Art Gallery in Luray rivals galleries in big cities with talent, space, but not prices.
